How do we position ourselves, to settle down and draw sustenance in life, when beaten by perpetual waves?
The regularity of life resumes, despite being robbed of three precious years. With decades of perseverance and vigour, we set sail in faith towards a brighter future.
One must look back in hindsight before moving forward.
The tale began with a father who sold ivory on the HMS Tamar. He retraced every trim and tack – the proof of his endeavours, yet only to find himself adrift along the stream of life. A woman estranged in an alien town, a daughter burdened by her father’s debts, a teacher lost in perplexing systems, professionals persisted through the rise and downfall of the economy… Without a handhold to grab, where will the waves take us in this dynamic era?
Agitation grows inside the city, yet solitude lies within the currents. Let our adventures begin and explore with an intergenerational crew, as we orient ourselves in the space between ideals and reality, and find our way home.
