Description
In February and March 2023 we present a programme of new original online theatre production experiences specially designed for children aged six to eight. The 60-minute interactive play-and-learn workshops offer children a basic introduction to the role of the backstage theatre production crew, with live facilitators offering insight into the skills and technical equipment required to stage exciting performances.
The lighting workshop opens with a demonstration of some of the lighting effects used for stage performances. The second part of the workshop is a virtual backstage crew experience on a multiplayer gaming platform, where participants help in setting up stage lighting for a dramatic virtual show.
